Sip Gourmet

Sip Gourmet has completely ruined every other cafe for me. The pistachio croissant with a matcha latte on a Tuesday morning is my version of paradise. The space is gorgeous, the staff remember your name, and the Wi-Fi is actually fast. I come here to work, but I always end up staying for dinner.

I have closed more business deals at Sip Gourmet than in any boardroom. The ambience is professional yet relaxed, the coffee is exceptional, and by evening it transforms into the perfect spot for a celebratory Whiskey Sour. It is honestly Accra's best-kept secret — though I am not sure it is a secret anymore.

Every single corner of this place is photogenic. I came in for the açaí smoothie and stayed three hours because I could not stop taking photos. The Cajun prawns are absolutely divine, and the team went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. Sip Gourmet is not just a restaurant — it is a whole experience.

As someone who works remotely, finding a spot with great coffee, reliable power outlets, and an atmosphere that does not make you feel rushed is almost impossible in Accra. Sip Gourmet checks every single box. I come in at noon and by the time I look up, it is cocktail hour. The grilled steak for dinner is the perfect way to end a productive day.

We hosted a small client dinner at Sip Gourmet and I cannot speak highly enough of the service. The staff anticipated every need before we even asked. The chocolate éclair dessert had my clients talking for weeks. The 5% service charge is the most well-earned fee in the entire Accra dining scene.

From the artisan sourdough in the morning to the signature cocktails at midnight, Sip Gourmet delivers at every hour. I brought my partner here for a date night and we are still talking about the Cajun prawns and the passionfruit mojito. The vibe is intimate, the lighting is perfect, and the staff made us feel like regulars from the very first visit.
